Without a doubt, this has been my favourite module during my time at Durham so far. This is due to interesting content, however for the most part this is due to the quality of Dr. Barnes' teaching; seminars employing a debate format, requiring students to work in teams together, were my favourite part of my degree so far.

Molly. Barnes. Is. Incredible. By far my favourite module. Everything is always so consistent and standardized. I feel so safe in the classroom and motivated to learn. The slides that Molly makes are a fantastic asset when it comes to revision and essays and it's one of my only lectures where I have felt a certain engagement. Molly is always great on emails and has been beyond understanding in so many circumstances whilst setting clear boundaries for expectations.
